Description
x970XX K
Offensive Blade • 5-Ply Wood + 2 KLC
The YINHE 970XX K is a loop-driven combined with fast-attack blade featuring an inner yellow aramid carbon (KLC) structure. It is positioned as exclusive equipment for the North Korean national team and can be regarded as a 20th-anniversary upgraded version of the classic YINHE 970.
Structure: 5 wood + 2 carbon fiber layers (inner KLC yellow aramid carbon); the surface layer is dyed koto, while the force layer and core layer are ayous.
Thickness/Weight: Thickness approximately 5.8–6.0 mm; weight approximately 88 g ± 5 g.
Official Ratings: Speed 10, Control 8, Spin 8.
A "soft and springy" looping blade: When generating power for a loop, the deformation is pronounced and the spring effect is strong, capable of producing a high arc and heavy spin. However, its absolute one-shot killing power is not top-tier, and it relies more on placement and continuity.
Excellent control and precise placement: The sweet spot is relatively large, and both defensive and offensive placement feel very reliable. Even when returning the ball at the descending phase, it is not prone to popping up, making it very suitable for multi-ball rallies.
Feel and structure: At low power, the feel is transparent and close to all-wood; only when generating power does the support of the inner fiber emerge.
